The olympiad of skills 2016

“The Olympiad of Skills 2016” held on May 20-22, 2016 was launched as a project for the Albanian Professional Schools, an initiative of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth with the support of UNDP and Swiss Embassy.

“Electrical Installations” (civil and industrial) competition was one of the many Olympiads organized during the fair. Our engineers Detar Bizhga and Elton Skrame created the project for execution; they advised, supervised and in the end they estimated the group projects. Evaluations were based on:

– Fitting of the Project;
– Aesthetics in Implementation;
– Technical Security Rules;
– Teamwork;
– Plugs Operation;
– Switch Operation;
– Sensor etc.

Among the 13 teams of professional schools from different cities of Albania (Tirana, Elbasan, Rrëshen, Gjirokastra, Fier, Lushnja, Korça, Durrës, Vlora, Shkodra, Berat and Pogradec) the first four winners with the maximum points were respectively:

First place: “Gjergji Canco” Tirana Electro-Technical School
Second place: “Petro Sota” Fier Industrial High School
Third place: “Ali Muftiu” Elbasan Industrial High School
Fourth place: “Shën Jozefi Punëtor” Rrëshen Vocational High School

Organized for the first time, the event was a direct and efficient way in evaluating the excellence and skills of students in professional directions, considering them future potential human resources for our company.
